Whitney Houston Dead At 48

Whitney Houston was pronounced dead Saturday February 11th 2012 at 3:55 PM at the Beverly Hills Hotel on the eve of The Grammy’s.The paramedics arrived at her hotel room and preformed CPR but it was unsuccessful.

According to TMZ, their sources have said there was no evidence of foul play, but their will be a full investigation as to the cause of her death. TMZ reported that Houston was at a party Thursday evening and she did not look well. She appeared wasted and moody.

Whitney was married to rap star singer Bobbi Brown for 14 years before they divorced.Whitney Houston was 48 and had a daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobby Kristina Houston Brown: Born in 1993Whitney struggled with drug addiction for many years, but was planning a comeback and was working on the remake of the film Sparkle.

In August 2001, Houston signed the biggest record deal in music history with Arista/BMG for $100million dollars and was to release 6 albums. Whitney has sold over 140 million albums and 50 million singles both internationally and in the US.

Her very close friend, Jennifer Hudson will perform a tribute to Whitney at the Grammy Awards Sunday February 12, 2012. Bobby Brown will still perform with his band at The Grammys.

The police will do an investigation of whether drugs played a part in her death.
